The MSCI ESG Portfolio Audit Service is provided to clients who require a third party screen of their holdings against ESG restriction criteria. While most audits are performed on a quarterly basis, monthly audits are also available. |
Clients can purchase either a Basic or Enhanced Portfolio Audit. Basic Custom Audit Report includes two output files with the following information:
- An Excel or PDF file containing a data dictionary of the screen used in the audit and a horizontal export of the "fail list" that is produced when the saved screen is run against the client’s holdings portfolio.
- Another file in Excel or text/tab format that lists each security in the portfolio, with an indication of whether it passed or failed the audit.
The Enhanced Portfolio Audit Report includes a Word or PDF doc that adds more detail about each company that failed to conform to the chosen investment guidelines.
