We report the latest quarterly results from the MSCI Global Quarterly Private Infrastructure Asset Index, tracking the investment performance of 943 infrastructure assets across EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific, representing $412 billion in equity value as of March 2026.

Infrastructure continued to deliver resilient returns in Q1 2026, with the index recording a 12-month total return of 12.2%. The asset class maintained its long-run outperformance relative to open-ended real estate funds and direct property investments since index inception.

Regional divergence persisted, with the Americas driving the strongest performance as surging electricity demand from the AI and data center buildout created a structural supply-demand imbalance in US power markets.

The Global Private Infrastructure Asset Index: available as a standard or custom index, a Portfolio Insights benchmark and in the Index Intel research dataset.
