Join MSCI, WWF, and a select group of industry peers for a roundtable breakfast discussion focused on how location-specific insights can help investors build a more complete picture of nature-related risk.
Nature-related risk is inherently local. Water stress, biodiversity sensitivity and land-use pressure can vary significantly from one location to another - yet gaining a clear view of these risks across a portfolio remains challenging, particularly in private markets where asset-level disclosure is often limited.
To close this gap, we will also introduce MSCI's Nature Regional Metrics dataset which aggregates nearly 5 million locations of granular asset-level data to regional averages, based on MSCI GeoSpatial Asset Intelligence and WWF Biodiversity Risk Filter.
This session is built for asset managers and asset owners integrating location-specific nature risk into due diligence, engagement, and reporting, private assets included. We'll also touch on the parallel challenge for banks, where credit and lending exposure to nature-related risk depends on knowing where a borrower's operations actually are, particularly for unlisted and private-market borrowers where that visibility has historically been the hardest to get.
We hope you can join us for an engaging conversation and the opportunity to exchange perspectives with peers.
