About this event

Nature is increasingly part of the engagement conversation for financial institutions. But turning that conversation into practice raises harder questions: What should you ask companies? Where do you start? And how can you distinguish evidence of progress from strong disclosure?

MSCI and Desjardins Global Asset Management will host a breakfast roundtable exploring approaches to assessing companies’ nature-related impacts and dependencies, with a focus on the issues most relevant to different industries rather than relying on a single generic measure. We’ll also discuss how company disclosures and relationships with nature can inform engagement.

Join us for a discussion on approaches to nature-related engagement: what effective engagement can look like, how investors might distinguish companies demonstrating progress from those with stronger disclosure, and how engagement can encourage more decision-useful nature-related information.
