There are more than 6,000 nature-based carbon projects worldwide, roughly half registered and half still seeking validation. Some achieve significantly higher prices with long-term interest from buyers and investors, while others struggle to sell their credits. What sets them apart? 

Ahead of COP30 in Brazil, where many nature-based carbon credits are based, MSCI invites investors and project developers to learn how to identify and back high-integrity, high-impact projects that deliver real climate and financial value. 

The session will spotlight:

• How evolving policy and regulatory frameworks are influencing the flow of capital toward high-quality carbon credits.
