MSCI in practice: EU Sustainable Finance series

The EU Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation (SFDR) will impose a rigorous set of new sustainability risk disclosure requirements on financial market participants who market financial products serving EU investors. As many are now aware, institutional investors may need to report on an array of new ESG metrics for their investee companies and now that the Final Report on draft Regulatory Technical Standards (RTS) has been published.

In the final session of the EU Sustainable Finance in Practice Series,  the MSCI team will be evaluating EU taxonomy measurement. The EU Taxonomy Regulation is set to transform the way financial market participants view company activities and determine whether those activities are truly green or not. Measurement of this alignment on a company and portfolio level comes with its own set of challenges and interpretations. Please join MSCI for an applied in practice session to walk through how our various data sets and solutions can support investors in meeting these measurement requirements.
