MSCI & PRI Climate Week Seminar: Taking Action on Climate Risk

Investors have a critical role to play in aligning investment portfolios with a lower carbon, more climate-resilient economy in order to address what the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres calls “the defining threat of our time.”

We invite you to join MSCI, the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), and leading practitioners for a breakfast seminar during New York Climate Week 2019. We will discuss how leading institutional investors are making sophisticated advances in the fields of scenario analysis and stress testing to align with science-based targets, reporting and disclosure requirements from the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and breakthroughs in climate grid mapping to better understand financial risks to physical assets.

About New York Climate Week

New York Climate Week, which kicks off this year with the UN 2019 Climate Summit, has come to represent an annual milestone for climate commitments amongst investors, businesses, policy makers and other stakeholders.  The UN has called these remaining months in the lead up to the 25th Conference of the Parties (COP25) in Chile this December the “time of action.”
