Reimagining Investment Management: The Path Ahead
The COVID-19 pandemic and the economic disruption that has followed is a reminder of the need to build resilient investment portfolios. Climate change is a key part of this resilience. In our keynote address, MSCI’s Chairman and CEO, Henry Fernandez will interview Jagdeep Bachher, CIO of UC Regents, to discuss the road to achieving an ex-fossil fuels portfolio.
With investment management being upended like never before, what was fit-for-purpose yesterday for asset owners will not necessarily be appropriate for tomorrow. Structural changes, including the shift towards indexed investing, private assets, and the integration of sustainability into the investment process are just some of the challenges faced by the industry. This is driving asset owners to re-think their long-term investment strategies.
Join MSCI and its partners, CalSTRS and CalPERS at MSCI’s flagship event to hear how we can work with asset owners to help you achieve your investment objectives.
