MSCI In Practice: Advancing Nature-Related Financial Risk Evaluations with WWF

This session was held in partnership with WWF to explore how nature-related risks are being evaluated - and how new data and metrics could be integrated into investment decision-making.

MSCI is partnering with WWF to advance the evaluation of sector- and company-specific dependencies on nature and how these translate into financial risk. By combining WWF’s Biodiversity Risk Filter with MSCI GeoSpatial Asset Intelligence, participants gained access to detailed, location-specific data on environmental impacts and risks.

During the session, attendees learned how nature-related risks can materialize and which metrics investors have been using to identify exposure and resilience across portfolios.
