MSCI/IPF Property Investment Seminar, Q1 2026

Join us on 12 May as we present the first release of the MSCI UK Quarterly Property Index for 2026.

We closed 2025 with retail and industrial leading the way,  yet within these sectors, the gap between the best and the rest was becoming increasingly difficult to isolate. 2026 has brought rapidly shifting dynamics, both locally and globally. Will the same sectors continue to prevail, or are we entering a period of greater turbulence? Where is UK real estate positioned for 2026, and where will the opportunities for growth emerge?

In the second session, Malcolm Frodsham, Director at Real Estate Strategies, will present findings from an IPF Research Programme-commissioned study examining how investment returns and risk vary across different living segments -- testing whether diversified living sector portfolios can offer institutional investors compelling diversification alongside exposure to the housing economy. With publication due in the coming weeks, Malcolm will provide an exclusive preview of the insights from the work undertaken.
