As part of MSCI’s quarterly webinar series, this session showcases the latest enhancements to Private i, designed to strengthen data transparency, expand benchmarking capabilities, and improve workflow efficiency across private markets.
MSCI experts provide a detailed walkthrough of the new features and enhancements driving greater confidence and insight in private markets data. The session also includes a demo of the platform to highlight these updates in action.
Webinar includes:
- SourceView: A new data validation tool that enhances transparency by linking key data points to source documents, supporting audit compliance, governance, and investment oversight.
- Private Capital Frozen Indexes: Fixed, reliable benchmarks built for board reporting, incentive structures, and regulatory alignment.
- MSCI | Moody’s Private Credit Risk Assessment: Independent, forward-looking credit risk insights combining Moody’s EDF-X models with MSCI’s private markets data—delivering structure, consistency, and confidence to one of the market’s most opaque segments.
- Holdings-level Fundamentals: Clearer visibility into fundamentals across the Assets and Entities modules and Configurable Exports. When multiple funds are exposed to the same entity, each fund’s reported fundamentals are now displayed, providing transparency into contributions and aligning the view with manager reporting.
- FTP File Delivery for Doc Management: Doc Management clients can now send defined document jobs directly to an FTP site, with delivery based on either the Posted Date or Effective Date of each document.
- Dynamic Grouping and Filtering in Configurable Exports: Apply up to six levels of grouping with pooled calculations, hide summary rows when grouping is applied, and refine export results through a new optional Filters tab.
- Configurable Calculations in Configurable Exports: Customize measure settings for investment-level or holdings-level calculations, replacing fixed formulas with tailored calculations that align with specific workflows and reporting requirements.
- Private Credit Indexes: Expanded from 8 to 77 indexes, offering broader coverage across strategies, structures, and geographies, including Corporate Lending and Asset-backed Lending variations.
- Private Credit Fund Taxonomy: A new standardized classification framework for private credit funds, providing consistent categorization across portfolios.
