MSCI Australia Small Cap Minimum Volatility Index (AUD)
The MSCI Australia Small Cap Minimum Volatility Index (AUD) aims to reflect the performance characteristics of a minimum variance strategy applied to small cap equities in Australia. The index is calculated by optimizing the MSCI Australia Small Cap Index, its parent index, for the lowest absolute risk (within a given set of constraints) and is denominated in Australian dollars (AUD). Historically, the index has shown lower beta and volatility characteristics relative to its parent index.
