The MSCI Canada IMI ex Controversial Weapons Index is based on the MSCI Canada IMI Index, its parent index, and includes large, mid, and small-cap stocks in the Canadian market. The index excludes companies involved in the production of controversial weapons, such as cluster bombs, landmines, chemical and biological weapons, and depleted uranium weapons. This exclusion is based on MSCI ESG Research, which identifies companies involved in these activities.
