MSCI World Select Climate Target Index
The MSCI World Select Climate Target Index aims to maximize the MSCI Low Carbon Transition (LCT) Score while maintaining risk and return characteristics similar to the underlying market capitalization-weighted index. It is constructed by selecting constituents of the MSCI World Index through an optimization process that targets companies with high LCT Scores and excludes those involved in serious violations of international norms, controversial weapons, fossil fuels, and tobacco.
