MSCI USA Value Screened Index
The MSCI USA Value Screened Index is a free float-adjusted market capitalization-weighted index that excludes companies involved in controversial, civilian, or nuclear weapons, tobacco, palm oil, or Arctic oil and gas. It also removes firms with revenues from thermal coal-based power or certain fossil fuel extraction, as well as those failing to meet key international standards or involved in significant controversies. The index targets at least a 30% reduction in carbon emission intensity compared to its parent index.
