MSCI EMU Screened Select ex Thermal Coal index
The MSCI EMU Screened Select ex Thermal Coal Index is a free float-adjusted market cap-weighted index that excludes companies from the MSCI EMU Index based on ESG criteria. Screens remove firms involved in controversial weapons, firearms, tobacco, palm oil, Arctic oil and gas, thermal coal, certain fossil fuels, UN Global Compact violations, or severe ESG controversies. The index targets at least a 30% reduction in carbon intensity versus the parent index.
