MSCI is committed to supporting the development of India’s capital markets and sustainable finance ecosystem. As per below, MSCI serves the Indian domestic market by providing certain sustainability and climate data products, as permitted under local regulatory requirements.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, any use of Sustainability & Climate Service(s) in India shall not be permitted unless: (i) India is expressly identified as a licensed Location in your Order Form; and (ii) such use in India is limited solely to internal back-office purposes and shall not include any decision-making, investment analysis, compliance, or research purposes related to ESG investment, performance, or practices, except to the extent that the applicable Service(s) are expressly listed below, as updated by MSCI from time to time.
