Katie Towey

Associate, MSCI Research

Katie Towey is a member of the physical-risk team within the MSCI Climate Risk Center and conducts geospatial analyses of physical risks. Prior to joining MSCI, she completed her doctorate in earth and environmental sciences from the City University of New York, Graduate Center, where she researched the relationships between storms and flooding hazards. Katie also holds a master’s degree in applied meteorology from Plymouth State University and a bachelor’s in atmospheric science from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
