Are valuations reflective of future income?

Watch our webinar where we will start with a discussion on the latest results of the MSCI South Africa Bi-annual Property index. This index measures unlevered total returns of directly held standing property investments from one valuation to the next. The index tracks performance of 2,402 property investments, with a total capital value of ZAR 393 billion as at June 2020.

The focus of the webinar will be to review the impact of COVID-19 on short term net income and longer term net income growth assumptions made in valuations.  We will explore differences between sectors or property types to understand which types of property are proving more defensive as South Africa braves the current headwinds.
