Meeting SFDR regulatory requirements: a solution for ESG reporting

Sustainable Finance is set to become one of the biggest regulatory initiatives globally over the coming years. Amongst these efforts, the EU is pursuing the most ambitious legislative packages, which started in 2018, with the publication of its 10-point action plan on financing sustainable growth.

One of the key pillars and considered one of the more pressing EU initiatives purely based on projected timelines is “The Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR)”, a regulation aimed at driving capital into truly sustainable products while combating 'greenwashing'.

As financial market participants, UCITS ManCos and AIFMs fall under the scope of SFDR and thus are required to integrate sustainability risks in their risk policies and comply with the new disclosure requirements. This process represents a challenge under several aspects, from data quality and availability to the ability to report at a product and entity level.

Join us for an insightful webinar where MSCI experts from the ESG Research team and the Analytics team will review the regulatory requirements for SFDR and provide an overview of how MSCI can help UCITS ManCos and AIFMs meet these requirements.
