Risk Disclosure for AIFMD
The Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) is a proposed European Union law which will put hedge funds and private equity funds under the supervision of an EU regulatory body. The European Parliament voted through a final text late last year, and the proposals have to be written into national statute books in 2013.
Numerous articles have been published in the financial press with respect to how the AIFMD will impact remuneration, as well as trustee and depositary responsibilities. However, little has been mentioned with respect to the requirements that the AIFMD stipulates with respect to risk management, risk disclosure and transparency.
Please join us for a webinar that analyses, in detail, the core directive and the supplemental regulation to present the solutions MSCI can offer to assist AIFM's in meeting the directive's disclosure requirements.
