Call it a comeback? Downtown office space is showing signs of a rebound.

Prices in U.S. central business districts climbed 1.9% in July from a year earlier, a sharp reversal from the 24% drop in July 2024. It was the second consecutive month that city offices outpaced the suburbs, where prices inched up just 0.2%. The recovery comes as companies press harder for workers to return to the office after years of hybrid and remote setups.
