MSCI in practice: What’s next for the EBA Pillar 3 ESG Disclosure Requirements?
In 2022, the European Banking Authority (EBA) published binding standards on Pillar 3 disclosures on ESG risks focused on banks’ vulnerabilities, mitigation capabilities, and engagement with counterparties. In 2024, all 10 templates come into focus as the EBA ask banks for disclosures on climate risk, mitigation actions, Green Asset Ratio, and Banking Book Taxonomy Alignment ratio.
Join us for the MSCI In-Practice session on March 20th 2024, where we will: (1) walk you through the EBA Pillar 3 Disclosure requirements (with a focus on the new templates due this year), (2) explain how our MSCI ESG & Climate Solutions are designed with the aim to support and accelerate aligning with these ESG disclosure requirements and (3) share insights on lessons learned from the 2023 reporting efforts.
