Akhil Kappagantula

Akhil Kappagantula specializes in private-credit analytics and insights. His research focuses on credit risk, portfolio construction and cross-asset interactions in private markets, with an emphasis on performance, distress and the structural evolution of private credit. Prior to joining MSCI, Akhil worked in Research Strats at Morgan Stanley, where he conducted quantitative and analytical research in financial markets. Akhil holds a dual degree in Economics and Computer Science from BITS Pilani.
