Arjan Ruijs

Arjan Ruijs is a senior sustainability researcher at MSCI, where he develops methodologies for sustainable-finance regulations, such as the EU Taxonomy and SFDR, and for controversies and global norms. Before joining MSCI, he developed and implemented Cardano’s sustainable investment framework, translating sustainability principles into investment practice, and conducted valuation research on natural capital and ecosystem services at the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency. Arjan holds a PhD in economics from the University of Groningen.
