Arne Philipp Klug

As MSCI’s nature metrics lead, Arne drives the development of nature and biodiversity metrics and acts as a subject matter expert, guiding clients in integrating these metrics into their investment decisions. He has authored several reports on sustainability and nature-related topics and actively contributes to international initiatives on nature-related financial disclosure. Arne previously led MSCI’S sustainability research on the transportation sector. Prior to joining MSCI, he worked as a sustainability analyst and account manager at Sustainalytics in Frankfurt and Toronto. Arne holds a master’s degree in communications science, political economics and Hispanic studies from the University of Münster in Germany.
