Arne Philipp Klug

As MSCI’s nature metrics lead, Arne drove the development of nature and biodiversity metrics, guiding clients in integrating these metrics into their investment decisions. Arne previously led MSCI’S sustainability research on the transportation sector. He authored several reports on sustainability and nature-related topics and contributed to international initiatives on nature-related financial disclosure. Prior to joining MSCI, he worked as a sustainability analyst and account manager at Sustainalytics in Frankfurt and Toronto. Arne holds a master’s degree in communications science, political economics and Hispanic studies from the University of Münster in Germany.
