Courtney Scharff
Executive Director, Private Assets
Courtney Scharff heads MSCI’s private-asset indexes and taxonomies. She oversees product strategy and commercial development across private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure indexes, and leads MSCI's PACS™ and GRACS™ classification standards. Previously, Courtney built and commercialized index and data products at Wilshire Indexes, Qontigo, Bloomberg and FTSE Russell. Courtney holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a master's in financial economics from Johns Hopkins University.
