Katie Towey

Katie Towey is a physical climate risk researcher at the MSCI Climate Risk Center, focusing on the development of physical hazard models and regional analyses of physical risks. Prior to joining MSCI, Katie completed her doctorate in earth and environmental sciences from the City University of New York, Graduate Center, where she researched the relationships between storms and flooding hazards. Katie also holds a master’s degree in applied meteorology from Plymouth State University and a bachelor’s in atmospheric science from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
