Nathaniel Downes is an analyst for the MSCI Carbon Markets team, focusing on evaluating integrity risks across a number of project types. Prior to MSCI, he worked as an intern at Trove Research analysing emerging nature-based solutions within the voluntary carbon market. Nathaniel holds a BA in geography from the University of Oxford, specialising in environmental economics, climate finance and geopolitics.
