Ryoya Terasawa

Ryoya (Tera) Terasawa leads MSCI’s commercial activities in Japan, managing key client relationships and delivering a cohesive, solutions-driven approach for Japanese clients. Prior to MSCI, Tera spent over 20 years at J.P. Morgan. He started his career in Tokyo in fixed-income-derivatives sales, then relocated to London and later to Hong Kong, working in equity-derivatives trading and structuring roles. Most recently, Tera was J.P. Morgan’s head of Japan sales and marketing, covering Japanese institutional clients. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo.
