Samira Niafar specializes in portfolio construction and asset allocation across public and private markets. She helps institutional investors address portfolio-construction challenges related to investing in private markets. Previously, she was an investment principal at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, contributing to total fund management. Earlier in her career, she held engineering leadership roles in the energy sector. Samira holds a doctorate in electrical engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is a CFA® charterholder.
