Theresa Bodner

Theresa Bodner leads research at MSCI on integrating nature into finance, where she and her team develop datasets and metrics at issuer, asset and portfolio level covering biodiversity, land use, ecosystem services and nature-related financial materiality. Her work has included advancing methodologies and economics models for nature-based markets, from project ratings to global cost and supply projections. Previously, she worked in green tech start-ups and managed interdisciplinary research projects on data visualization systems. Theresa holds a doctorate in forestry from Bangor University, two master’s degrees in sustainable forest and nature management, and the CFA Institute Investment Foundations® certificate.
