Zachary Hirsch develops economic models connecting climate-hazard data with financial and community outcomes. Before joining MSCI, he researched the effects of climate risk on property values, company revenues and migration at First Street. Zachary holds an M.S. in environmental science and engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and dual bachelor’s degrees in environmental science and economics, summa cum laude, from Virginia Tech.
