The size of the global professionally managed real-estate market declined in 2023, led by a contraction in the U.S. However, some markets increased in size, staunching a larger global decline. In this annual report, we detail the size of 37 individual markets and the three global regions, and their weight in the overall universe of professionally managed commercial property. For the first time, this report also breaks out the property-type composition of the global and regional markets. The report provides a deeper understanding of the relative size of real estate around the globe, helping investors map and balance their portfolios.
