Edina Szirmai works as a financial-engineer lead in MSCI’s analytics research. Her team oversees product development from design to production, covering areas including pricing and risk modeling across asset classes, equity portfolio management and climate metrics. Previously, she worked at Morgan Stanley as a strategist and quantitative modeler focusing on valuation adjustments, exposure calculations and regulatory modeling. Before that, Edina held various positions in academic research. She holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Eotvos University.
