Commercial-property investment in the APAC region expanded in 2024, boosted by a series of entity-level transactions including the region’s largest deal ever. We analyze the investment trends and provide data across markets and sectors.
Asia Pacific Capital Trends highlights:
- Landmark deal: Blackstone Inc.’s multibillion-dollar acquisition of data-center operator AirTrunk marked the largest APAC real-estate transaction on record.
- Japan’s momentum: It was another record year for transactions in APAC’s largest market, with a burst of M&A activity across sectors in the fourth quarter.
- Mixed markets: South Korea and India rebounded, bolstered by trading of office and industrial buildings, while China continued to lag.
