René Veerman

René is a member of MSCI’s Executive Committee and responsible for the business, product and commercial strategy for MSCI’s Private Assets product line.

René was previously MSCI’s Head of Real Assets, Head of EMEA Analytics and Real Estate Client Coverage, and before that Head of APAC Analytics Product.

Before joining MSCI in 2013, René was Managing Director at Credit Suisse Securities where he worked for over 14 years in various commercial and management roles in Europe and Asia. Prior to that, René was an Investment Strategist at Achmea Asset Management and he started his career at PGGM Investments as a Quantitative Analyst.

René graduated from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands with a Master’s degree in Econometrics and he is a Certified European Financial Analyst.
