Marking five years since the launch of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), MSCI ESG Research looked at the progress publicly traded companies have made toward aligning their products and operations with these global standards. The MSCI SDG Alignment Tool uses available data on companies’ products and services, practices, policies and performance to measure their degree of alignment with each of the 17 UN SDGs, as of Aug. 11, 2020.
