Not all ESG funds are alike as their policies and resulting sustainability attributes can vary significantly. The 20 largest ESG funds in our coverage collectively accounted for approximately 13% of total assets under management globally in ESG equity funds. There was an almost even split between active and index-based fund investment approaches, with active funds accounting for over 57% of AUM.
