    The MSCI China ESG Indexes are designed to represent the performance of the most common ESG investment approaches by including, re-weighting or excluding companies by leveraging ESG criteria. Incorporating ESG into your investment strategy or product development typically starts with understanding your ESG objectives. We have organized our indexes into three categories, integration, values and impact.

  • Climate Change Indexes


    The MSCI China Climate Change Indexes are designed to enable investors to holistically integrate both the opportunity and risk considerations associated with the transition to a low carbon economy in their China market investment strategies. The indexes aim to represent the performance of an investment strategy that re-weights securities based upon the opportunities and risks associated with the transition to a lower carbon economy, while seeking to minimize exclusions from the parent index.

  • Factor Indexes


    The MSCI China Factor Indexes are designed to represent the return of factors which have historically demonstrated excess market returns over a long horizon.
