Sameer Bhatt and his team conduct research on global fixed-income markets, focusing on index development and providing solutions to MSCI’s clients. In addition to research and product development, Sameer and his team are responsible for rebalancing and maintaining the MSCI Fixed Income Indexes. Before joining MSCI, he worked as a market-risk quantitative analyst with Credit Suisse and as a buy-side credit researcher with Aviva Investors. Sameer holds a master’s degree in economics and a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering. He is a CFA® as well as a CAIA® charterholder.
